Dry Day

Today is a dry day for my writing I must say. I can't think of much to write about...got a song stuck in my head, it's a good song though so I'm good...Halloween is coming up, lots of candy and old movies on TV like Halloween, the one you like so much. It is a rather decent movie better than final destination, but I won't dwell on past rants. John Carpenter can make a good movie, many include Kurt Russell for some reason. Well almost time to go so I better finish up. See ya, sorry for lack of topic, and happy Wednesday.

I just hope I make it home before I fall over... sorry dosed off for a minute or five. well the bell should ring soon... sorry dosed off again and... where did everyone go? Well since it's an hour or two after school I think I should wrap this up. sorry for my drowsiness but, I'm just so tired.

Third Use of Prompt

Well as you can figure out by my straight forward title this is my third use of a prompt given to me, and this time it's what is the scariest movie I've seen? First off I should mention I have a different concept of scary than most people I know. What most people call "scary" I call "startling" and yes I make a distinction when it comes to describing movies. For example Some people believe that shaky camera movies like Cloverfield, Quarantine, and the Blair Witch Project are "scary," but I believe to be "startling". My difference is this "scary" things are scary even if you saw them coming a mile away, but "startling" is something like you turn a corner in a old house and see a man with a knife through his back or you bump into someone when not looking where you are going. Now that I explained my difference between "scary" and "startling" I hope you can better understand my choice for the "scariest" movie I have seen. The scariest movie I have seen is Jaws. My reason for picking Jaws is because its fits my definition of "scary" which as previously stated is something that frightens you regardless of the situation, but can be affected somewhat by the situation. Jaws is that to me because first of all and primarily It's somewhat realistic. Sharks have been know to kill people on occasion and like most good horror it does have some basis in reality. Just to show you that Jaws fits my definition of "scary" What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word "shark"? Probably wasn't a happy thought was it. The secondary reason for my choosing Jaws is is the situation adds to the horror, it isn't the horror. The characters in Jaws are on an island and this shark not only kills people, it ruins their economy, and their way of life. So it's not just a movie about killing like so many horror movies are, which I admire. The last thing I should mention is that horror movies are definitely not my favorite kinds of movies. Most of the are just stupid, sorry if that offends, and yet this "scary" movie is one of my favorite movies of all time and has been since I was a young child. I believe this speaks to how good a movie it is and with that I leave you, also sorry I went so long that it's the longest I've ever wrote here and wasted half your day.

Review

well, I'm bored today and I can't think of anything to blog about and we didn't have a prompt, so I've decided to review. I've written about all kinds of things; in only two months I've gone from being angry about stupid plotless movies to saying how awesome Ozzy Osbourne's music is to talking about old video games and then new ones. It's been a interesting two months, depending on how you feel about these things of course, but I feel as though that there might be a few more intriguing things to come just not now because I am a dry well if you know what I'm saying. So leave you with time to review on what you have done these past few months, bye.

Friday

Guess what day it is, Tuesday. No it's Friday and thank all the is holy that it is Friday this week has been OK, not bad, not great, certainly better than last week. No homework this weekend or so I think, but I do have to get up early tomorrow for a lab test. This week has been alright, two movies a class much better than the last and another in another class spontaneous and unexpected. Ice cream for all in the senoir class that was fun I had seconds. I'm not writing that well today because I know it's Friday and that's all I have to say.

P.S. see you monday

Dark

I was afriad of the dark when I was younger and this is the second time I've done a prompt given to me. I remember not being able to move when the lights when off and not being able to sleep without a little night light by my bed. I was just completely horrified of the dark and not much would freak me out more, unlike now, now the dark puts me to sleep. That's not to say I can't fall sleep when it's bright, I can, but I really got to be tired. just thought I'd mention how the dark used to frieten me, but not any more. Now I just don't like stubing my toe or smashing my leg, but that's different than a fear of the dark.

Head Pain

Guess what have as I am writing this a headache, and oh boy is it fun I really enjoy the horrible pain which has prevented me from doing much of anything today and will continue to enjoy the rest of the day, wallowing in bed not being able to eat or sleep, oh boy isn't it fun. On a less sarcastic note this head pain is debilitating and I can hardly type this and I need an Advil now and if I don't get one I'm going... sorry getting angry due to the pain any way got to go before I do something I might regret.

Sleep

Who hasn't, it's great isn't it? I mean sleep, it's the best invention since sliced bread. Sleep is one of my favorite thing, in fact when I'm asleep I dream of sleeping. I love it, few things are better than sleep. I wish I could be a spokesperson for sleep so I can show my appreciation for it. Sleep is wonderful and I would write more, but I'm sleepy and I can't ignore sleep.
